Myrtle Beach in late April?
Has anyone been to Myrtle Beach in late April? If so how is the weather then? Is it warm enough to go swimming?
I have been in later May and June/July/August.. but not sure how the weather is like late April... TIA.

Re: Myrtle Beach in late April?
I've been in early May and I thought it was a little too chilly to go in the ocean, but we didn't have any issues going in a heated outdoor pool.

Ocean temps will still be a little too cold to swim in the ocean at that time, but the air temps should be ok.

My SIL went & it was a very cold year. They were in sweaters & jackets the whole trip.

It should be warm enough for heated hotel pools, but the ocean will still be chilly. I'm going in a week with my kids and we plan on swimming regardless of the weather ;)
