Does medela pump in style advance use a battery?
I've always used the adapter plugged into the wall. But does it take a battery??
Where? What kind?

You need to buy a battery pack for it. I think I got mine at target.

Ok good to know. Where do the batteries go? Does the 'machine' come out of the case or something?

They're just regular batteries. I don't remember if they're aaa or aa. You need 8 total.
The adaptor just plugs into where you put in the plug.

The battery adapter plugs into where you normally put the plug.

Just wanted to add the battery pack takes 8 double A batteries and is not quite as strong as when it's plugged in but obviously better than nothing.
