Anyone been to Milwaukee?
Just looking at it possibly for a weekend when The 7 Line (DH and I are huge Mets fans) will be there... do you need a car to get around? We've been to Chicago but basically took the train and walked anywhere we wanted to go. Not sure if that is the case with Milwaukee. TIA!

Anyone been to Milwaukee?
I travel there for business frequently. You don't need a car in the downtown area (it's pretty walkable) but, you would have to take a cab to the stadium as it's outside the city.

Downtown is walkable for sure.
Cab it to the game :)
If you have a chance, go to Mader's for great German food, beer and pretzels the size of your head! Brunch at the Comet Cafe is SO GOOD...five years later and I still think about it!

Anyone been to Milwaukee?
I really like Cafe Benelux - good food, good beer, great atmosphere.
ETA - I also enjoyed the Miller tour - but, that was outside the downtown area as well.
