Disney Beach Resorts

Has anyone been? They have locations in Vero Beach and Hilton Head. I'm specifically looking for information on Hilton Head but any feedback is appreciated.

From the website, they look like nice resorts although there is nothing "Disney" specific about them. I didn't see anything about character experiences or any themed events for kids.

I haven't been to Hilton Head, but love Vero Beach. There were no "character" experiences....it's totally different from Disney World, but there were activities for kids.

Family Activities
Campfire: Join our cast members for a fun-filled time of singing, story-telling, and marshmallow roasting.
Goofy Bingo: Play this classic family game Disney style, complete with trivia questions, sweet treats, and plenty of fun.
Movies Under the Oaks: Bring the whole family along to watch some classic Disney movies at our outdoor movie theatre under the stars.
Fishing and Crabbing: Head out to the resort pier on Broad Creek for a chance to get up close with the local sea life. You can rent fishing gear and crab nets at the resort.

More for Kids and Teens
Kids Night In: Our recreation team provides 3 hours of supervised child care with lots of laughter and games. It even includes a pizza dinner! For ages 5 to 12.
Gyotaku: This ancient Japanese art of ‘fish rubbing’ will enthrall your child and they’ll get to take home a unique painted t-shirt. For ages 5 and up.
Mickey Tie Dye: Your child will create a colorful keepsake—a one-of-a-kind, tie-dye t-shirt with Mickey right in the middle! For ages 8 and up.
Teen Kayaking: Come join us for a kayaking adventure through Broad Creek. Lunch is provided.

Vero is doing some renovations I saw the other day. I do believe they have a character meal now also.

From my research, Hilton Head is NOT on the beach, you have to take a shuttle.
that's a deal breaker for me
