Had an emergency sono today...
I have been having these sharp electric shock-like pains on my right side for 2 days straight. The pain is getting more frequent and stronger. So I went to the doctor today and they sent me for an emergency sono. Thankfully they said everything looked ok, I saw my cute little peanut sucking his/her thumb and actually waved to us while he/she rolled over! But now I am nervous because they don't know what is causing the pain and said if it gets worse to go to the ER. Prayers please!

BElieve it or not, I got those, too, and the dr. told me that was the baby kicking me! Glad you're ok!

I have had this a few times myself....it hurt and it felt like an actual electric shock
dr said I was fine .....this happened around 16-22 weeks how far along are you?

I am 14 weeks. It was the strangest feeling!

They thought that at first but they said I would have a fever and vomiting along with it, or that I would also not be able to eat anything. I still have my HUGE appetite, and they did the test where they push down to see if the pain increases when they let go and it stayed the same. So they ruled that out. The pain has subsided a lot and now I feel it on the left side a little too....I think its just stretching.
