Age to start going to Universal & Sea World?

There is so much to do at Disney and both my girls (1 and 3) love Disney characters and princesses. Would you spend any days at Universal or Sea World with little ones this age or all at Disney?

I wouldn't bother with Universal, there will be very little they can do there. We started taking both DS to Seaworld when they were babies. They really just enjoyed looking at the animals.

We did a day at Sea World last month with our 4.5 y/o DD. It was a lot of fun. We saw the dolphin show and whale show. They even had an area with rides and activities for kids.

I would just do Disney at that age.

My boys love sea creatures so they have been to SeaWorld at that age but they would have been equally happy at aquarium by Philadelphia.

We went to Universal for the first time when kids were 4 and 6. That is the youngest I would go to Universal.

Age to start going to Universal & Sea World?

Since I moved to San Antonio back in 09 AJ was 8m old. So Sea World is whenever we can. Doesn't really matter. We used to have an aquarium and they closed it and moved it into Sea World. (They recently opened a new one I refuse to go to - due to different reasons).

But Sea World here has lots of kid friendly shows. She loves watching the sea lions and seals. But she's been since I'd say 3yrs old easily? But I've taken her since before she could walk.

We also have a Six Flags (which is actually closer) so same diff.

I would wait. There is so much at disney for that age.

I did universal when my daughter was 3.5 yrs (boys were 7 and 9) and if it were just for her it would have been a waste. Most rides that are good you have to be 44 in. She had plenty to do (Many really hot outside climbing type things - it was late august - sweltering 95 degree day). She is on tall side but most rides were 44 inches that the boys enjoyed. The boys at 7 and 9 were perfect ages! (never did seaworld as we never had interest but doing it this year for the 1st time)
