Toddler peeing in pants a little
DD will be 4 next month. She's been potty trained since the summer. She's done a great job, but recently, within the last few months I find probably about once a day that her underwear are damp. Like she pees just a little bit in them. I have no idea what's going on. She doesn't even tell me when it happens. One friend told me it's a phase. I asked her if it hurts when she pees at all and she says no. I ask her why she's doing this and she says I don't know. Any insight? If this was a bladder infection she'd be in pain, right? I know I was when I had one. Anyone been through this?

Does she wipe herself, or do you? Because when my dd tries to wipe by herself, she does a terrible job, and ends up with damp underwear bc she really didn't wipe where she was supposed to.

Re: Toddler peeing in pants a little
Is she constipated by any chance?
I went through this with my DD. She was trained a few months before 3 and never had and then started this. It started just before DD2 was born, so I figured regression. But after months of it and feeling like she really couldn't help it, I took her to a urologist. They did a sonogram, as well as some other tests and concluded that she was full of poop and it was pressing on her bladder and a little pee would leak out. She went every day, but her BMs were small and hard and I never made the connection. After a "clean out" with mild laxatives, increasing water (she had a lot of fiber but was bad at drinking water) and other dietary changes, she started to get back on track.

Dd has also been trained since the summer. I'm finding now a little "overconfidence" in holding it, and I think she dribbles a little while experimenting with how long she can hold it. How frequently is your dd going to the bathroom?

Reasons my dd has done this, shes 3.5 and been trained since a month before her 3rd bday:
She holds it until shes almost having an accident because she doesn't want to stop playing. That's once in a while.
When trying to fart has dripped a lil in her panties but she tells me cause the wetness bothers her. BUT my dd has sensory stuff so she doesn't like feeling certain things.
And sometimes after peeing she gets up too quickly and drips a lil on her panties.
