Mirena Postpartum

I had Mirena put in 1/28 no spotting or anything. On 2/9 AF arrives a little early(days). Normally AF last about 5-6 days. I've been spotting ever since she "left". I haven't had functioning tubes in years so I only got the Mirena to help with crazy heavy periods but didn't expect to have to wear light tampons for days on end.

For those on Mirena how long was it before the spotting stopped all together? We're going away in a couple of months and just got my VS swimsuits delivered and hoping this spotting stops so I can wear them comfortably.

I don't have an answer to your specific problem, but I'll say, with Mirena, my AF was all over the place for a good year. Completely unpredictable, various levels of severity... but after that year mark I barely get AF (I still get the zits and mood swings, however! ) and when I do get her I barely need a tampon, it's awesome.

I think in a couple of months you'll be fine with no CONSTANT spotting but it will still be a little unpredictable so I'd be prepared for anything!
