hiccups -- whats your remedy??
Samantha loves, loves, loves to give herself the hiccups -completely randomly too! - anyone have any ways to help get rid of them??? We try burping, feeding, bouncing, etc... they don't seem to bother her at all but mike and i hurt for her sometimes!

Re: hiccups -- whats your remedy??
Nothing you can do... We just hold her. Dh plays "hiccup elevator" with her.
Hiccup elevator: is a when Grace hiccups he will hold her an lift her up over his head, them when she hiccups again, he will lower her and say "second floor, shoes, sock and handbags" or something stupid. It makes her forget about the hiccups and they eventually go away. HTH
eta; She loves this game so much that she will laugh and give herself hiccups again!

Samantha really picked them up the last few weeks of my pregnancy and kept them up too!

They go away on their own. I think it bothers us more then the babies. Luka would hiccup until he was about 3 months and I can't remember the last time he had them.

I was going to say the same thing. I can't remember the last time Jordana has hiccupps.
