Need Birthday Party help
new parent who needs advice
I am planning my son's 2 year old birthday party We are having it at a local Gymnastics place for ages 1-5
My question is: The party is for 1-15 kids and my son is free. I have a good 10 kids within the age group who I would invite. (not to say they are all coming) I am thinking about inviting his school friends. What is the proper way to do this? Do you invite just his friends? or the whole class? How do I get an address? I honestly do not know the kids parents, so how does this work?
TIA

I assume your child is in daycare. Not sure if the same rules apply wherein you have to invite the whole class or one gender. I would probably ask the teacher what the rules are. Typically you send the invites to school and the teacher puts them in their backpack.

I would ask the teacher to put the invite in the bag that goes home with the kids. But agree with the PP, ask the teacher what the rules are.

Re: Need Birthday Party help
We have always invited the whole daycare class - Once my older son got to K, we just invited the boys because it got to be too much w/ our family, friends of the family AND his school, camp, hockey etc friends - you have to cut it off somewhere !
You CAN just invite who you want to, but you should really mail those invites.

I would invite the entire class. We put invites in the bins in the classroom. Not all the kids will come. We invited almost 30 kids between personal friends and school friends and we had 21 kids including my DS.

We invited his whole class. We gave the invitations to the teacher and she put them in all of the children's mailboxes. But that only would work if you are inviting the whole class. If you only are inviting a few people you would have to reach out to the parent separately and ask for their address to send an invitation.
