Another Disney question... What did you carry in your park bag?
For those who traveled to Disney with kids, what were your park bag essentials?
What did you take that was useless & what were the must haves?
So far, I have:
A pair of flip flops Antibacterial (liquid & wipes) Change of clothes for the kids Chapstick Small wallet w/license, debit & insurance card Hair clips camera plastic bag throw away poncho Backup phone charger. Some snacks water Autograph books Pens
What am i missing? (I have magic bands)

Looks good! But I don't bring extra clothes or shoes. We go back to the room midday though.

I packed snacks, water, autograph book, camera, hand wipes, poncho and an extra pair of pants/undies for my DD in case of an accident. All of that was in a bag that I left in the stroller. I wore a crossbody bag with my wallet, phone and park tickets. My DH carried the camera.

Last time I was there all I brought was a mini cross body bag for my phone and a small container of sunscreen. The magic bands are awesome for that reason. The only place I brought extra clothes was AK because I knew we'd be doing the River Rapids and getting drenched.

Thanks for the responses!
Normally I wouldn't bother with the extra clothes, but my daughter is wearing her princesses dress to the parks (3 total). Also, we are there in Mid Feb, so I know the temps fluctuate like crazy this time of year!

Ahh, makes sense. We will also be there Mid February, I guess I should pack some sweatshirts since it looks like it will be cool in the mornings and evenings

I packed mini bottles of coconut rum to mix in the Dole Whip things.
I'm no help.

That is TOTALLY what I would be bringing in my bag to endure a day at Disney!

With magic bands, I only carry my phone now. No bag. I don't have to go through the bag security line anymore.
In the past, I would have sunscreen, bottled water, camera, my itinerary and some snacks.

Seriously dude. I stuck them in my back pockets, not in my bag. They search bags.

Another Disney question... What did you carry in your park bag?
we went with DS, who was 5. since we had a stroller, i had 2 bags 1) a backpack that had ponchos, antibacterial wipes, sunblock, rain jacket/sweatshirts, snacks/ water bottles... that kind of not super valuable stuff. i left that in the stroller, so if anybody decided to steal it, they really weren't getting much.
2) a small cross body bag that i wore in lines and on the rides. that had my phone, camera, and DHs phone.... valuable stuff, so i always had that with me. with the magic bands theres really no need to bring any cash or ID or whatever...

Not my ideal vacation!
The planning. OMG. I need a degree in this. Like how do I know 180 days before I go what I want to eat and what time.
Give me sun, sand & a frozen drink and I'm set.
One and done trip. Doing it for the kids...doing it for the kids....

What I don't get is how the finest and most popular restaurants in NYC are easier to get into than these mediocre food establishments at Disney. It boggles my mind. Boggles it.

Haha. I just came back from three days there - we brought my niece for her 4th birthday. My family all lives down there though. They moved there after my dad retired, so it was just me flying in. DH was like "NOPE!" so he stayed home.
All that planning and shit...we didn't do it. Yeah, we did dinner at Be Our Guest because I happened to be online a couple weeks before and they had spots. We booked a last-minute character lunch at Hollywood Studios when we saw rain in the forecast and ended up having so much fun watching my niece interact with the Disney Junior characters (and we missed all of the rain AND THEY SERVED HARD LIQUOR THERE...and I don't know if it's allowed but the waitress seemed to like my mom and I so she hooked us up with some extras in to-go cups...word!)...but other than that, we didn't plan things and we saw so much. Shows, rides, character meetings...we covered a LOT. They bought annual passes so they can go back whenever; I still have a day left on my ticket because we had a military discount so I got a four-day pass for just a little more than a two-day. I don't really care if I ever use it, but I'm in Florida a few times a year visiting so I guess if we're looking for something to do we could go there and use up my ticket.
It's what you make of it. We saw families where people were way organized and people like us who were just like "let's have fun and when we stop having fun, it's time to call it a day" If you don't force yourself, you'll be fine. We also went when the crowds were predicted to be low; we had that luxury since my family lives there...makes things more flexible.

You would probably enjoy a day at EPCOT. Have drinks around the world in every country. This.... https://adventures4funatics.com/Item.aspx?ItemID=28

I'm pretty sure you only have 14 days from the first day you use up your tickets. We bought a 5 day ticket for the price of a 4 day and only used 4 days so I looked into it.

Ah okay! Thanks, M514
I'm actually excited that I don't have to feel obligated to go back. Hahaha. Still got three days there for cheap thanks to the military discount anyway!
