FYI Spring break week
On a whim I googled airfare to Florida spring break week.
I had low expectations but the numbers were not that bad especially for a short trip (I priced out Sunday - Thursday)
I saw several airfares under $300 nonstop.
I also checked Disney's website and Pop Century is $100 a night.
Not a very pricey Disney vacation.
Just wanted to share!

When we looked months ago it was HIGH. Like insane high.
Maybe as it gets closer it the prices drop a bit.

FYI Spring break week
That's because most of the country isn't of that week. Seems to be just the NY Metro area due to Passover. Everyone I know is going to FL that week though 
The cruise was a good price too when I looked a while ago. I WISH we could go, but my dd's gymnastics state meet is that week. Ugh. I guess they didn't bother to check the school schedules when they scheduled it!

Oh I know, I was still surprised because several people on here said prices were high. I guess the airlines finally pushed it too far and prices had to fall a little.
I totally checked on a fantastical whim and now the wheels are turning. DH might kill me.

FYI Spring break week
Also - not every district in the area has the same time off. Our district is off a week at Easter and 2 days at Passover.

Southwest from ISP is still crazy high that week- just checked.
Their prices for the same flights from JFK and Newark are great though.
Islip- like double.

FYI Spring break week
I just checked prices over the weekend. We usually spend $700 total to fly roundtrip to Orlando. Spring break week the lowest I found was $1200 total.
