So much for pink stuff
My dd will be 3 next month. She is very opinionated. She has been telling me for the past 2 months she wants a jake pirate party. We just got home from party city and I was hoping that we would end up with some cute pink girly theme. Nope all she wanted was jake pirate stuff.

My dd is turning 4 and she wants a minion party... she loves to play with tools and loves to help my dh fix things. I love it! I say whateva makes her happy!

My twin girls had a unicorn party for the 3rd jake party for the 4th bday and minion party for their 5th. As long as they are happy I don't care I prefer these to the girly pink princess party

Dd went to a 4th bday party for twin girls and it was superhero/batman themed. One twin was the original batman and the other was the modern one. Even an appearance by batman. I thought it was super cute that it was a deviation from the girly stuff and that the parents ran with it! I actually wish dd was a little less into the princesses!!

DD 2 is 3 years old and it is all about cars and the color blue - whatever makes her happy is fine by me.
I love that she is not the typical pink girl and has her own opinions and likes!!

DD has been anti-pink for years. It's all about Jake, superheroes, capes, sports. She will not wear anything that is a dress, pink, or purple. Then again I won't either lol

Good for her! My 2nd DD would have done the same thing! For Halloween at 3 she was SpiderMAN, at 4 she was BatMAN (and then went on to be a skeleton and a zombie--the girliest costume she's worn was Jessie from Toy Story  ) she's had Cars and Spiderman birthday parties. She's 8 now and loves sports and is usually seen in some jersey or another. Guess what? I prefer it to pink stuff times a million and I hope she never changes!
