How Can I Babyproof This? (Pic)
This is a console table in our living room area. (Well, one of the legs). It's wrought iron & obviously dangerous to a crawling baby. I don't want to put a gate/fence around it (it's pretty small). Any suggestions? Should I just wrap each leg in something super padded? TIA for any ideas. Image Attachment(s):

That's what I would do. The problem will be once she gets a little older and will try everything to get it off

I agree but I would watch for her biting it. My girls put anything & everything in their mouth.

I would wrap a towel or blanket around it with some duck tape.
I feel like any kind of foam she'd take a chunk out of - which could be MUCH worse.

My only suggestion would just be to remove the table for now. A crawler will just bite at or rip off any covering you put on the legs. You might even end up damaging the finish if you use tape.

I would probably do the same thing - just remove it temporarily.

Put each leg into a winter boot...like an UGG. That would probably work, and what a conversation piece!

I know, it's true.

Oh well, my house is now a home with my little girl, so if it has to look like a tornado went through here for a while just to keep her safe, then so be it.

Re: How Can I Babyproof This? (Pic)
I'd just put the table away. We put our coffee table away when Jack was getting mobile and it was actually a pretty safe one...rounded edges. Better safe than sorry.
