CAR SEAT REC
My son
Just turned 4
43 1/2 inches tall
55 pounds
He is still in his Britax Marathon. But I'm sure I need to upgrade him
Looking for suggestion.

he should still be fine in that seat the marathon goes up to I think 65 or 70lbs but if you did want to upgrade him I got the Britax Frontier one. easy to install. still a 5 point harness and then you can convert later on to a high back booster seat

Are the harness straps coming from above his shoulders? If not, you need a new seat asap. That seat is outgrown when a child reaches 65 pounds, 49 inches or when the harness straps are coming from below their shoulders when foward facing. Whichever comes FIRST
Typically the next step would be a "combination" seat which many call a harnessed booster. Done seats to look at would be-

Britax Frontier
