Warm US destination in April for family?
I really would like to take a family beach vacation at the end of April. The kids don't have passports so to avoid that hassle, I was thinking Florida somewhere??? We did Disney in August so we're gonna hold off on that trip for a another couple years. I was looking into Sanibel Island but know nothing about it. Help please :)

Warm US destination in April for family?
We went to St Pete Beach in April 2 years ago and the weather was beautiful. We were in the pool/beach everyday. We stayed at the Tradewinds Island Resort.

We went to Clearwater Beach in April and it was in the 80s daily. It was perfection.
Check out the Sandpearl Resort. A splurge but heaven. Amazing . Great for kids too. Nightly kid movies by the pool. Mermaid story time in the pool evenings. Samd toys for the beach. Kids club. Free breakfast for kids.
Their sister resort, Opal Sands is also opening soon I think. Brand new.

You can go to Puerto Rico or the US Virgin Islands without a passport if you don't want to do Florida. But Clearwater is great and so are the Keys.

I would go to Florida in April. Weather should be perfect.
We went to Tampa/Clearwater last April and it was perfect.
