Beaches Turks and Caicos
Has anyone been? Is it worth twice the price of the other resorts in Turks?
Is the waterpark fun for kids? Can you purchase a day pass for it if you stay somewhere else?
I really like the idea of staying there and the all inclusive ease but it is pricy. Would love feedback. Thanks!

Re: Beaches Turks and Caicos
We just got back.
We have a 2.5 year old and she loved it. So while it is expensive, the fact she loved it made it worth it.
I thought the place was great for families.
The staff were all amazing. Food not the best but decent.
The beach beautiful and so much to do on the resort.
Water park lots of fun. Had a small toddler area with mini slides and water sprays and big slides for older kids/adults.
I think you can do a day pass but I think it is best to stay on site because there is so much to do.

Beaches Turks and Caicos
I went twice as a child (9 and 13) and loved it! I heard there so much more now then when I went. Somebody I worked with took her 10, 7 and 4 year old and said all of them loved it. Her 10 year old has autism and they have a hard time finding a vacation everyone has a great time and she said she do it 10 more times.

Re: Beaches Turks and Caicos
We used to go there when DS was little. The first time he was about 3. Then we went back a couple of times to the Italian Village. Last time DS was maybe 8. He enjoyed it at every age. When he was little we took him to the Elmo's shows. Older he didn't want to, but he enjoyed the water park and the xbox lounge.
It is really a special place. We have been to other 'all inclusive', but none compares to Beaches, IMO. The food is ok, but I'm not really picky. They have lots of restaurants and options, though, and it is easier to go to any place to have lunch or dinner (I'm comparing to Paradisus, for example, where you have to make reservations every night for dinner and it is a pain, since sometimes they don't have availability for x place at the time that is convenient for you).
People are the best. They remembered DS in the kids club the second time we went. They really make you feel special. In other resorts I have noticed that if you have a complaint or request, they just ignored you.
It is definitely expensive, but it is one place I'd go back in a heart beat.

Re: Beaches Turks and Caicos
I honestly think you can do better for the price unless your kids love Sesame Street. My kids were never big Sesame St fans so our kids were not all that interested. They didn't want to go to the kids club. Beach and pool were nice. Rooms were mediocre. I would not consider Beaches a luxury resort.
If they had Pokémon characters, our family would be there in a heartbeat.
