What do you do about difficulty plugging in the seat belt with the booster?

I thought the booster was going to be awesome but it's so freaking hard to plug the seat belt in. The buckle accepter is so deep into the seat and right at the edge of the booster so that there's no room to work. My kids can't do it at all themselves and I can barely do it. I was so frustrated this morning. Seat is Graco Nautilus in booster mode, obviously. Should I try a different seat??? They all look so similar.

No booster seats for me yet, but I think it might have something to do with the brand. It's happened to me before (toddler car seat.)

Is there a different position in the car that may be better? Some seats are, unfortunately, incompatible. Is there any slack in the stalk to pull it up at all?

I brought a different seat. I true high back booster. Its much easier now and my dd can do it herself

depends on the placement of the seat. We notice we have to push it away from the clip sometimes. Just a bit. But it's like day and night.

She wasn't able to clip herself in though until about 7yrs old. She's small and I just always did it.
