Can anyone tell me anything about Nashville? I'm looking to book a long weekend with a friend for a girl's weekend in February. I'm looking at Hotel Indigo in the downtown area-it seems like they have a free bus system in that area.
Anything is appreciated! Thanks :)

Nashville is AWESOME!! Went for a long weekend this summer. So much to see and do. We saw Dolly Parton at Ryman Auditorium, did the country music hall of fame, the Johnny cash museum, and a haunted bar crawl. Definitely go honky tonkin' at all the bars on Broadway. There is live music EVERYWHERE and most places don't have a cover charge. We also did a backstage tour of the grand ole opry. We went to the bluebird cafe where Taylor swift started too. It's really a great little city.

Oh and if I recall you can walk from hotel indigo to Broadway - it's a very walkable city and not huge

Love Nashville. I am going in February as well. I have family there and go all the time.
-Nashville Zoo -Cheekwood Gardens-so many exhibits there, check the calender -Partheon: exact replica and musuem -Opryland Resort and interior boat ride -Ryman Hall, go see a country show -up and down the main drag all the honky tonk bars, great music -country music hall of fame is great, and the Johnny Cash museum is fantastic
Also, the cities near-by of Franklin and Brentwood have great antique shops....plus you must eat Pizza at the Mellow Mushroom

I'm going for a bachelorette party the last weekend of February. We're a big group, so we rented a house instead of staying at a hotel. But everyone keeps telling me his awesome Nashville us, so I'm super excited to go someplace new.

Re: Nashville
For a bachelorette party, I'd look into one of the bar bicycle tours. We saw people doing them all weekend and it really looked like they were having a lot of fun.
If you can, try to see a show or book a tour of the Ryman Auditorium - it's really cool.

Yes, they are a lot of fun. We did Sprocket Rocket.
And I agree about the Ryman, the backstage tour was really cool. We also went back that night for a Opry at the Ryman concert.

Re: Nashville
I just wanted to add that I also booked us a pub crawl with Music City Pub Crawl. It gets awesome reviews and is only $15 a person.

Re: Nashville
Just wanted to add, yes I agree, the backstage tour at the Ryman is great and see a Saturday night show live on air while you are there as well. Great Opry Mills Mall across the street as well.
If you go to the old Marathon Motors building you will love it, tons of history and you can see the shop where they have that show "The Pickers"....plus there is a wonderful brewery in there called Corsiar, really fun and great tastings....cute coffee and antique shops in the lower level as well.
Enjoy...
