WHAT TO SEE AND DO - I ALREADY KNOW WE WANT TO DO DISNEYLAND AND LEGOLAND, AMERICAN GIRL STORE, HOLLYWOOD, GRIFFITH OBSERVATORY,
WHAT ELSE IS COOL TO SEE AND DO - I WILL BE TRAVELING WITH MY DH, DD WHO IS 6 AND MIL WHO IS 74
WE ARE VISITING FAMILY SO MY MIL WILL SPEND TIME WITH THEM WHEN ITS THINGS SHE CANT DO LIKE LOTS OF WALKING....
ANY MUST EAT PLACES?

We did a tour of the Warner Bros studios and it was so much fun and so interesting. We got tickets to see a taping of the Ellen show too.

Nikkita in Malibu is my fave along with the cafe in Malibu Beach Inn. You can do lunch there then walk the pier afterwards. Its so beautiful there!

I'm not sure if it's changed because it's been quite a while since I was in CA but for most tv show tapings they give out more tickets than the seat capacity to ensure the seats are full. Some shows have age limits. For the Price is Right, everyone is interviewed to be a contestant so the wait is hours. You can not leave the line and come back even after you are interviewed.
ETA: Other places to check out-- Venice Beach/Muscle Beach, Santa Monica Pier, see a show at Hollywood Bowl, Getty Center. If you are going to be there for a few days and want to see a lot of things, you may want to consider the Go Los Angeles Card.
