Allergies every morning
My 6 year old has some bad seasonal allergies. He's also allergic to cats and some dogs. Just about every morning he has a sneezing attach. One sneeze after another and lots of boogers. We have tissues next to his bed. Usually lasts on and off for about 45 mins - an hour. No matter where we are he still sneezes and blows his nose a lot. After that he is fine for the rest of the day, which is usually after breakfast or during. He has allergy meds from an allergist and we use it only during Spring bc he's highly allergic to tree pollen and other times his allergies may act up.
Any ideas what this could be? It's not always, but pretty often. His room is very clean, has some stuffed animals and he does have carpet, but he's also had this before at hotel or other homes.

Definitely dust & dust mites. Get new pillows, Launder sheets & blanket twice a week.
The best thing that helped for us was an air purifier (or filter).
My DS stopped coughing the very day we put it in his room. It was amazing! I had to cancel an appointment with the pulmonologist (he was awful for over half a year). Exactly like you, it was MUCH worse in hotels (we don't have rugs or carpets).

Re: Allergies every morning
sounds like dust/dust mites. Do you dust often? vacuum under the bed? dust blinds? Also they make special pillow protectors to protect from dust mites. I am highly allergic to dust as well so we try to really keep up, especially under the furniture.
Could also me mold somewhere. You could have the air tested in your home to be sure of that.
