1st birthday party venues
..and 4 days after our dd1s 3rd birthday we have dd2s 1st birthday.
Dd1s 1st birthday was at a yacht club and def not looking to spend as much as we did the first time around.
Nice restaurant. Possible water views. Reasonable but good food.
Huntington and surrounding area, but will travel a little bit.

Re: 1st birthday party venues
We had DD's first birthday at Mario's in Plainview. Great food, great service, and a very reasonable price.

Thanks. Was thinking of this as an option.

Re: 1st birthday party venues
No recommendation, just a question. Are you doing separate parties? Mine are 11 days apart and think I will do a combined party. Haven't done anything for DD yet other than small, home party for her 1st. Until they're older with separate friends, I feel weird doing two bday parties. It's all the same family and friends and can't imagine they'd want to come to two parties within a month.

Doing separate parties. They're 4 days apart. For me personally, I want my then 3 year old to have an age appropriate party and my then 1 year old to have the focus on her for her party.
I'm sure when they get older like 4/6 etc combined may make sense. But then again they will each have their own friends. These parties only include up to 10/15 kids and with what you pay for each additional kid you might as well have two.
It may be diff for us but dd1 has a ton of friends. She's been in school since 16 months. It's actually her friends, not our friends.

Ok, yes, it is different if you're already having friend parties. Totally get having two separate ones in that situation. We're not there yet so this year will be combined and then I'll see from there.
