Hiatal Hernia
Anybody have any experience with this?
So after having heartburn on and off and severe stomach pains on and off over years, today after an endoscopy i was told I have a hiatal hernia.
I'm nursing so I can't go on nexium, Prilosec, etc from what my dr told me.

Re: Hiatal Hernia
Both DH and I have it. I don't take medication for it. Instead, I am very careful about what I eat and drink. Things like coffee, onions, tomato sauce, nuts, wine....they all irritate it and cause bad stomach acid that pushes on the hiatal hernia and creates terrible indigestion. If you can cut out on certain foods it will give you some relief.
