Don't think Charlie would have any impact on him as I think you might be confusing him with Martin Sheen.
But I do think Michael Douglas has had health issues in the past so that could be why he's not looking his best.

I agree.
My dad had the same throat cancer 5 years ago. Michael Douglas is super lucky to be alive. My dad lost his ability to eat and breath on his own for while. Then he had to learn how to swallow again. Eating is a daily struggle for him and even the slightest post nasal drip is torture.
My dad looks really bad too, decades older than he did but I'm just glad he's alive.

Michael Douglas & Catherine Zeta Jones
He aged a lot in the last few years. I met him while walking in NYC a few years ago and was shocked at how attractive he was in person. He looked really good for his age (I believe he was 67 at the time). He looks 15 years older if not more in this picture than when I saw him.
