costco locations

can anyone tell me if there are any recently opened Costco locations, as in this year
I have the opportunity to get a decent gift card but I have to join a new location since I am not a member already
thanks

Re: costco locations

Hmmmmmm I could be wrong but double-check by calling their customer service or a store location and asking BUT I BELIEVE you do not have to be a member to use a COSTCO gift card.

Not sure about those generic Visa/Amex/Etc gift cards.

I would check and see first before you go to the trouble of joining.

Also, keep in mind, the basic membership is $50 plus tax and you can cancel at ANY TIME, no questions asked, for no reason at all, and get a full refund. Even at the very end of the year after using it all year long. It's just their guarantee. Now, for locations -- where are you located?? I know there is a fairly new location in Riverhead --- other than that, I don't know of newly opened locations on Long Island but there are existing locations in: Nesconset, Holbrook, Commack, Melville, Westbury, Queens, and then many others as you start to get into Brooklyn, Harlem, NYC, etc.

HTH!
