my niece will be 9 in Jan. She LOVES all crafty things - beados, qixels, clay, etc.
I've seen tons of craft type kits in Michael's and AC Moore.

I have an 8 year old and 10 year old daughter.... I love books like this that teach a craft and have all the materials included.
