Clearly a large number of people (not just republicans) agree with him. Many are scared and fed up and people find him appealing and a protector, I think. He's confident for sure but he's scary in many ways.

I still sometimes think trump is a Democratic plant at times. Not all the time .. But when he comes out with outlandish things (which happens weekly).. It does give me pause.

When does Barbara Walters do her 10 most fascinating people? I'm sure he will be number 1.

So I took some time to read about the whole thing. I learned a few things:

Yes some people are saying he is a democratic infiltrate that he is dividing the 2 parties even more so democrats will win again. The amount of republican politicians that DO NOT support him now is growing.

One article showed how the amount the media focused on his correlated with the amount of support he has (polls)

He may end up running as an independent.

I wonder how many voters he has lost since his recent comments.

But do you really think that Trump, who is the epitome of a republican (insanely rich, big business, etc) would work to help the democratic party?
I can't see that

I don't think anyone truly believes that. Just that he's so unbelievably "out there" that its the only logical explanation they can think of lol.

There is no "context" with trump. He is an ego maniacal wealthy ass wipe who is so out of control that its an embarrassment to our country. My DD's fourth grade class speak about him regularly - not favorably - they( and I ) cannot believe he is running for president. Each time he says something worse than the last I think " this is it...this will knock him over" but like a skittle he keeps getting back up. I just want him to go away. PS I imagine he must have a huge security details and what a nightmare that must be.
