Where do you get your glucose monitoring supplies?

I need more test strips and lancets but my insurance just changed and I pay for everythingin full until I reach a very high deductible. Do you know how much they are full price? Is there any where I can get them at a discount? I've been looking on ebay but they're not inexpensive there.

Lancets are cheap but the strips are $100ish per box. I don't know of anywhere they can be purchased at a discount.

what type of monitor do you have? I have a few boxes of test strips & lancets left over from my pregnancy that you can have for free ( I had gestational diabetes). They are for the Freestyle Lite. FM if you can use them.

I also have Freestyle Lite for my Type 1 Diabetic son. Often we don't use the full supply, but are replenished every three months. Could you use the surplus?

Try to get a discount card - check manufacturer website or ask your Dr if they have any. They have supplies on Amazon, not sure how you would submit that to your insurance (to count toward your deductible).

My insurance covers my OneTouch brand stuff (for the most part), but for the few times when I had to buy supplies off insurance, I bought the Reli-On brand from Walmart. Fraction of the price. I did several side-by-side tests with the OneTouch and the Reli-On brand at home, and they were almost the same numbers (the same delta range as two consecutive tests with the OneTouch both times....)
