Holiday Gifts for Teacher, etc?
This is the first year I've had to do this so I'm a little lost.DS is in a nursery program, 3 days a week for 3 hours each day. His class has one teacher and two assistants. Any good ideas on what to give them? What is a reasonable amount to spend on each gift?
DS is also bused to and from his nursery program, different drivers on each route. Is it customary to give gifts to them? If so, what is a reasonable amount to spend?
TIA
Update - I spoke with the school & they were no help. They have no involvement in the gift-giving. They couldn't even tell me what the teachers liked, etc. Frustrating! Any help??

Do you have a "class mom" -- if so I'd ask her. If not, I'd ask the school administrator if there are any guidelines.

There is no class mom. I'll reach out to the director.
Thanks!

Honestly cash or gift cards. Even 10 or 15 bucks in either is much appreciated. I always give my DDs daycare teachers and assistants cash or giftcards depending on the holiday. I think it is easiest and most appreciated then a frame, candle, chocolate, scarf etc etc that I am sure they get a million of.

I always contribute to the class gift, then get something edible on the side. If I didn't contribute I would do a GC. Teachers have enough mugs, ornaments, tote bags, etc.. IMO

I contribute to the class gift organized by the class moms. Then I also give a small gift card and a small gift too. I think gift cards are the way to go since you really don't know the teachers personally.

The teachers and assistant so do cash or gift card. For others (certain helpful receptionists, bus driver in your case, etc.), a small gift like chocolates. I always get the mrs, Prindables apples when they are on qvc.

Holiday Gifts for Teacher, etc?
My dd is in nursery school 3 x days for 2 hours 1 teacher 1 asst... I did a small bath and body works set for $10, i did sugar cookie premade mix (Betty crocker $3 on sale) with cookie cutters (michaels $3 on sale) plus $25 gc to homegoods for the teacher... for asst i did the sugar cookie mix cookie cutter and $25 to home goods... both wrapped really nice with huge bows and im including our xmas card along with a handwritten card to thank them for all they do.
Last year i did mug (from michaels it was like $4) and i bought swiss miss hot cocoa mix, mini marshmellows, and a candy cane with $25 gc to home goods and then i wrappes them in plastic wrap with big huge bows... was a huge hit!
I dont know about bus drivers... sorry...
I loveee my daughters school and teachers and i love giving gifts... pinterest is where i get a lot of my ideas for gifts and wrapping them... im all about presentation lol
