Girls Christmas dresses
Can you show me your DD Christmas dress please. I bought my daughter a beautiful one from Janie and Jack but she said she won't wear it- she's only 4yrs old and such an opinion already!! Lol

If you're ok with her telling you she 'won't wear it' I'd suggest returning the dress you bought and taking her shopping with you to pick it out herself. You'll probably catch a good sale at this point too

agree with above poster... There are times my dd tells me shes not wearing something and I let her know gently she has to wear it... i find a way to make it fun for her and then she gets on board

I am looking too. I bought santa dresses, but the glittery fabric sheds too much for my liking. There were some cute silver dresses at gymboree I might order - didn't have our sizes in store.

IMO a dress is not something worth fighting over- is it really worth making her unhappy on Christmas Day over a dress? She is a very strong willed little girl and There are many fights that I am willing to fight but I do not feel this is worth it- It's Christmas! She should be happy I have already returned the dress thank you. And we always go shopping together, she loves to shop and she usually loved everything I pick out was just looking for some ideas

Re: Girls Christmas dresses
We got the red plaid drss from gymboree, and a cute red drss with a tutu and penguin design for Santa photos and informal Christmas parties. We also got an ivory sweater dress. I will let dd decide what she wants to wear on Xmas Eve vs. Xmas day as her "opinion" in the process.

Re: Girls Christmas dresses
I agree with bringing her shopping. DD at Christmas when she was almost 3 had SUCH a fit over a dress. She won't touch anything that has tulle anywhere. Other than that, she chose all her wardrobe as soft, sweater like flowing knit dresses. Very ok with me. I recommend Gymboree.

I didn't buy this one because we have so many dresses already, but I love it!
