New Camera
I am in the market for a new camera.
I have a DSLR but it is too big and bulky.
I have a Sony Point & Shoot that stopped working. I was thinking about getting it fixed but not sure how much that will cost.
Any recs on a Point & Shoot or Mirrorless Camera? I am not even sure what a mirrorless camera is but someone recommended that over the P&S.

Re: New Camera
What do you primarily want to shoot with the camera?
I love my DSLR for high-res, high-speed, high-zoom pics. I love my cheap P&S because.... it's cheap, so I don't worry about it potentially getting damaged. I love my nicer P&S because it's got a decent zoom, decent resolution, decent speed, etc. I love my camera phone because it's always available, and at 15MP, it's got plenty of resolution for most of what I need.

I want it for everyday use but would like it to have excellent zoom, resolution, and speed. I want the ability to share through built-in WiFi. Possibly take HD video. Shoot in panoramic.
