Westbury theater
Just wondering if anyone can tell me how accessible parking is for the westbury theater. Is arriving 30 min. Before a show sufficient to find parking and walk into the theater, or is parking and walking more of an "adventure"?

That's plenty of time. It's a small theater.

Not sure if things have changed in a few years, but parking attendants direct you right to a spot. It's a small lot and not a far walk to the building at all.

The Space on post ave or the music fair on brush hollow road? the one on Brush Hollow has its own lot. The one on post ave has a lot of on street parking there is a lot across the street behind the stores and another lot on same side of the street one block down being Riteaid. They are all meters but hopefully not at the time you are going.

Re: Westbury theater
Even if you park far , it's not that bad of a walk. But if you really don't want to walk, slip the attendant a $20 and he'll direct you to spots in the front they leave open.
Don't want to debate whether this is right, or fair, or whatever. It's just the way it is. We went during a Christmas show and it was freezing out. So we tried and it worked.

Re: Westbury theater
parking isn't a far walk, but when everyone is leaving the show at the same time, the parking lot is a madhouse. there is only one way out of the lot and its up a ramp towards brush hollow rd. it was so insane last year. cars where cutting people off all over trying to squeeze their way in to leave.

OMG, I am so glad I just read this! I didn't realize there was two, and assumed it was on post ave. Just looked, and it's the nycb theater on brush hollow road. I would have gone to the wrong theater!! Thank you! We would have missed peppa and my daughter would have been traumatized!

Half hour should be good. We once had to park in a business on brushollow and walk down the hill, but I think it was much closer to showtime since we were close by already and thought we would go right in, lol.
