Reviews on Avenue Q show
My library had codes through schooltix.com or something to see this for $49 pp.
DH is NOT a broadway show person whatsoever but I've heard this is hilarious and a little raunchy even. Not your typical musical...
Any reviews?

It's so much fun. I love that show and it's something I recommend for people that want to see a show but aren't necessarily JAZZZZZ HANDZZZZZ types of showgoers.
Definitely on the raunchy/offensive side...your sides will hurt from laughing. See it!!!

i saw it like 10 years ago and thought it was very good...but not great. ONLY because people hyped it up so much for me i expected the best show of my life!! (and that's Les Mis!) So go but don't hype it up for him and he'll love it.

Your DH will love it. Mine did! And he's not a broadway type either. This and Book of Mormon were perfect for him though.

It's def not your typical show -- there's a song called "Everyone's a little racist" and puppets have sex on stage. 
So if he's not a broadway person and likes raunchy & adult humor, then it could be good for him. I laughed my ass off.

Saw it like a decade ago before kids. Thought it was funny.
I would not be rushing to go to see a funny puppet show now with 2 kids. Much better things to do out there with our limited free time.

Such a funny show! Loved it. Definitely not your typical bway show. Think R-rated Sesame Street! I would definitely see it again.

I felt the same way. I thought it was funny, but did not live up to the hype especially seeing it on Broadway with the Broadway pricetag ($100+ per ticket).
