6 week old - feeding

my dd's eating schedule is totally random lately. it can range from 1.5 - 3 hours during the day. i breastfeed and pump into bottle. she switches back and forth with no problem.

but sometimes it's 2 oz on the bottle and sometimes 4. sometimes it's 5 minutes on one boob and others it's 10 minutes or more on each.

should she be on a better schedule than this or is this normal around now. i feel like she was more predictable at 3 weeks than now!

any tips/suggestions?

It's still young to be on a schedule for some babies. All depends on the baby

There's also growth spurts to take into account. Vaccines, etc.

I always fed on demand (I exclusively BF until they were much older and didn't use bottles unless I had to be away for a long time) and their schedules were all over the place. I never pushed them to be on a schedule either though, so I'm probably no help.

right. she's healthy, gaining wait..pooping/peeing normal. i should just let it be.

My DS was not on any real schedule until 9 months. 6 weeks is still way too young.

I schedule at 3-4 months.
Before then, she is a little predictable, but not 100%

6 weeks is a typical growth spurt.

6 weeks is also way too early to think about a schedule. Feed her when she's hungry. Around 3 months she may start to fall into a schedule, and if not, you can start helping her get into one then.
