Anyone want to do a book exchange?
I'm guessing these only work if people participate but I figure let's give it a shot. I keep getting invited to do these on fb. Anyone do one and get books?
Anyone want to do a book exchange for their kids (any age)? All you have to do is send 1 book to a child and then your child will receive up to 36 books!
I just ordered through Amazon and had the book shipped directly to the child I was supposed to buy for. It was cheap and easy and I don't have to mess with the post office! I'm hoping 12 of my mommy friends will want to participate...?
Let me know and I'll send you the name of the child.

I did it. Had more people say they would do it than I needed. I should have ended up with fifty books! I got two.

I never understood how it works. How can you end up with so many?
Honestly - the thrift stores have like brand new kid books for like .50 cents.
I bought my older one some goosebumps books practically brand new (and they very well could have been new) for like under a dollar.
I even buy books myself there.

It's basically a Ponzi scheme for books. You send the form to say 6 people. And each of those 6 people need to send it to 6 people. So those 36 people send you one book and all you have to do is send one to your person.
Good in theory but people don't actually do it.

I'm going to do it. Not like it costs me a lot of money.
