The Great Pumpkin Blaze or Rise of the Jackolanterns?
Anyone been to both that has an opinion as to which is better? We've gone to the Rise a few times but was wondering if the Great Pumpkin Blaze is worth taking a drive. TIA!

Would you be taking young kids to the Blaze? For the most part there are only 9-9:30 slots left. We are going this year for the first time- it sells out crazy fast. Three weeks ago I could only get decent times for November. My friends rave about it, it's not far from where I live.

We went to the Blaze last weekend. It was neat, but I wasn't blown away. Fake pumpkins kind of take the "cool factor" out of it for me. Never been to the Rise, but saw some pics, many of the same displays. It was ridiculously crowded though, and the line to get into the parking lot for a 7:30pm time slot was insane. We were elbow to elbow with people while walking through the pumpkins. I think the key is to go in right at the end of your time slot, not right when it starts.
We also did Irving's Sunnyside house tour, which was nice, and stopped at LegoLand Discovery Center on the way up, which my kids loved. I wouldn't recommend Horsefeathers to eat (despite what most say). The food wasn't very good. And it's very expensive for what it is.
