Milk after alimentum
My dd is on alimentum for protein sensitivity. What type of milk did you use after formua?

Have you tried any dairy yet?
My dd was being seen by a GI specialist. She was on neocate. He had us try plain whole milk yogurt first, a few spoonfuls each day. After about two or three weeks of that, we got the ok to start weaning her onto milk,
I used organic whole milk, and slowly weaned in her bottles (ie 5oz formula and 1oz milk for a few days, then 4/2, 3/3, etc.)
In the end, dd never took to milk. But she eats lots of cheese and yogurt.

we transitioned to regular milk after. He was on it because of his eczema but it didn't really seem to matter. He has no issues but we had tried other dairy products before making the switch.

Milk after alimentum
My dd ended up with almond milk.
She was fine with yogurt and cheese but straight milk made her sick again. So i did almond milk with no issues.
Shes now 3 and still wont drink reg milk and cannot handle a large amount of ice cream.

Milk after alimentum
We tried yogurt and cheese at 10 months. He did okay so we tried refused whole milk--a slow transition, just one ounce of milk to thre rest formula. We used another ounce of WM and one ounce less of Alimentum every 3 days. Did this till we were fully transitioned. We've had no problems.
Did this with both my boys who had to be on specialized formula for milk protein allergies.

Milk after alimentum
My son had trouble transitioning to milk from alimentum. We went very slow with whole milk 1 oz every week. We did it at around 15 months

Ds was on alimentum and we transitioned to almond milk. He had a milk allergy.

My 1st son was on nutramigen and my twins were on eldercare. All 3 needed a gradual trAnsition to milk. I mixed milk and formula until they were tolerating all milk. Their poops were my gauge. Took awhile... about 15 to 16 months to transition, but all were on regular whole milk.
