My niece had it. The dr had them go to PT for a few weeks I think and they learned exercises to stretch out the tight side. It took a few months but she grew out of it.

My 1st DD got it from sleeping in the rock and play
We had her sleep in the crib instead and dI'd home exercises. Luckily it went away on its own

I've heard this many times, yet so many people swear by the rock and play. They should take it off the market.

I have now almost 4yr old twin boys. They both were born with it, one more severe then the other. My smaller twin had LOTS of PT from 2/3 months until almost 10-11 months on it. He finally held his up around 8 months. My other son needed the helmet for placiocephaly. Hang in there...therapy can be tough & may include ALOT of cryiing. I left the room many times but also took my baby away from PT many times. It's a hard process.

Yes. See a chiropractor who specialized in pediatrics. I found my chiropractor from the icpa website.

Re: Torticollis
My daughter had it. She went for physical therapy for a few weeks. The PT gave us exercises for us to do with DD and tips for preventing it from getting worse. The PT helped tremendously and my daughter is fine now. She's 2.5.

Re: Torticollis
My DD had it and did PT 1x a week for 4 weeks for 4 months , where are you located? My PT was amazing and DD is now 2 years old and totally fine! I remember how stressed I was over it.

It can be caused by anything--car seat, swing, bouncy seat--if their head stays positioned the same way too long.

We did PT for about 4 or 5 months. After about a month of PT it went away but we stayed with it to make sure there were no other issues
