new iphone 6s updated new problem

anyone get the new iphone 6s and have trouble connecting it to their car,
im hoping its just cause the phone is brand new but I cant connect the Bluetooth, I have a jeep. I even went online to jeep's uconnect website it doesn't list this phone as being compatible
does anyone know how long it takes for phones to usually become compatible

I go to settings and put it as discoverable but it never gets discovered lol

New problem. I get in my car this morning turn off turn back on still doesn't work. By the time I get to work my phone is completely dead won't turn on, it was fully charged, even when I attach it to charger nothing !
My first iPhone and I am ready to return it

Every once in a while my phone won't connect in the car. ( but I have the 5S, not 6S). Try shutting off the phone and then try connecting it in the car after you turn the phone back on - always works for me.

I will try that, this is my first iphone so I wasn't sure if maybe this was common when the new ones come out

I am having a lot of issues with my Jeep and my iphones. It connects but when you dial a call it doesn't hold the hands free and switches back to the iPhone. Major PITA. No answers yet. I don't have these issues with my Audi.

I had no trouble connecting mine to Bluetooth in my Chevy Equinox.

Did you try turning the phone off completely and trying again?

I always have had trouble connecting my iPhone 5 with Bluetooth on my sound bar at home. A good tip I had gotten was to go into your Settings then Bluetooth and look for the network you are trying to connect to. There should be a little "i" in a circle next to the network, which probably says "Not Connected". Click the i and then click "Forget this Network" and try it again. It will come up again and when you click on it, should connect no problem. It's a pain, but quicker than turning the phone off and on.
