Sesame Place in the rain?
I bought tickets off of groupon and this Saturday is the only day we can go in October. ?? we are going either way, but has any else here ever gone in the rain? Are most of the rides covered so there's still a good amount to do? I know we can always watch the shows, etc, but was hoping we'd get to go on some of the rides if it pours nonstop.

Sesame Place in the rain?
Sesame is tiny, I can't imagine trying to have fun in the rain. There is one covered area to play in when it rains, and I believe 1 indoor show (the other is covered partially). Guess where everyone ends up

I hope it won't rain the whole day then. I think they give rain day tickets but don't know if we will be able to make it back this season at all...bummer!

We once got stuck in the rain but we had already spent about 2 hrs there. There is a tiny indoor area. If I remember correctly, we just ate and then went home.

Can you wait until December for the Christmas events? I've heard the xmas parade is cute.

I want to go Saturday too. I hope it doesn't rain. We went before when it was raining on and off and they kept some rides open during the rainy spurts, but it wasn't a heavy rain.

The groupon was for $35 tickets. October, the tickets are $45 so we are saving $10/pp. The Christmas tix are just $25 so if we wait until then to cash in our groupon, we lose $10/pp.
I'm now thinking we will go this Saturday and if it rains, use the new tickets in December...

If two of us will it enough, maybe it won't rain so badly!

I am really hoping. Last time weather was iffy and DH wasn't happy it rained (it really wasn't bad rain).
We have season passes, but I was looking at the Christmas tickets for grandparents. It looks like they are going to have a groupon for single day Christmas tickets that is $22 for 2 people.

Don't know if you went... But with groupon, you can use the $ you originally spent as "cash" on things if they expire. So... You can use it towards tickets next year & should be able to use it & not lose $.

Thanks, good to know for future.
We did end up going and it was cold and overcast and misting but no downpour. Rides were open from 10-3 and there were no lines. DD went on all the rides several times and then when they closed the park early, we picked up the sunny day passes. I know we won't be able to return in Oct or Nov, but hopefully we can find a weekend to do the Christmas stuff.
The lady at guest services also shared the groupon can be applied towards season passes too
