What to wear to Rangers game?
Going wednesday..Have never been. Is it cold in there? Are sandals OK or will my toes get cold?? Have no clue! TIA

Wednesday meaning, tomorrow?
Because they are calling for some rain and the low is 54 so, for me, my little piggies would be quite cold in sandals. I would do AT LEAST a ballet flat just to have those toes covered! Brr!!! 
The venue itself, MSG, when you are inside watching a hockey game - yes, there is a chill in the air from the ice, it's not horrible because they do have heat in the building but yeah it's chilly.
I usually wear black skinny pants with a basic form-fitting shirt and bring a denim jacket. You could always do a Rangers t-shirt, I do that sometimes with dark denim jeans and a sweater to cover your shoulders with in case you get chilly.
But I would probably do ballet flats -- I have TOMS too and those come to mind, if it were me.

I would stay away from sandals. It gets cold especially if you are sitting close to the ice. I usually bring a scarf and light jacket just in case I get cold.

I am miserable when my feet are cold. I think it will at least be cool at MSG, so I wouldn't wear sandals

I would not wear sandals. I typically wear a shirt and then a jersey over it and jeans and I feel fine. I've never been too cold.

it's cold in there - Wear pants, closed shoes and a sweatshirt or jacket -
the closer you are to the ice, the colder it is ......but it's pretty cold everywhere in the arena

Thanks all! Ballet flats and sweatshirt it is! Excited as I have never been to a hockey game! I believe we are row 5 on the closest to ice section (113 maybe??) so no sandals for me!

well I havent been since the garden has been renovated..but its usually cold. No sandals.
When I went to Rangers FLyers here in Philly this year, I had a Jersey, shirt under it, jeans and boots and i was effing frozen. and i was high up.
You're better off having a layer or two and then able to peel it off if you're warm.
