Hey all,

I wouldn't be posting this if I wasn't desperate. My DH & I have been having issues and on top of everything, he left a 9-year position at a bank to move to a company that.. basically told him it was a customer service position in the interview but it is actually telemarketing. He has to make a minimum of 100 calls a day to businesses that literally berate him and he is completely and totally miserable. He wasn't told that this would be the job and he is frustrated/depressed, especially to leave a 9-year job to be stuck in a position like this. The reason he left his prior job is because it was always a late-night shift (3pm-11pm) and it was causing lots of issues between us.

Anyway, my question is.. does anyone know of anyone hiring on Long Island? He has lots of experience in back-office/operations and has been applying in lots of credit unions but nothing is panning out.. I'm not sure if it's because he looks overqualified on paper or what. Help! Chat Icon
