FL resident DISNEY tickets???
My family lives in FL.
Can i get Florida disney tickets and just have them mailed to them? how does all that work?
do you have to show an ID at the gate?
There are 5 in my family and we're going with 2 others that live in FL to disney. Obviously the florida resident tickets are much cheaper.
so what's the process? order and have them mailed to them? put in their name?

Following as well. We're going in February and my sister lives there. How much cheaper are they? Is it a significant amount?

Re: FL resident DISNEY tickets???
It's virtually impossible to do this. They will not mail the tickets. You will receive vouchers that need to be turned into tickets at guest relations. You will have to show Florida ID and do your finger scan before they issue a ticket. You can't have just one person (with FL ID) pick up the tickets. They need to see everyone and will check all the IDs.
They are very strict about it. I order discounted DVC annual passes and it's the same process (except we need to show DVC membership and our ID). Once DH left his license back in the room and despite having my ID and both of membership cards we couldn't get his pass. We had to pay for a normal pass and then go back later with his license to get a credit.

How about for kids? Lets say my sister goes with her kids and she pays for my kids tickets, how would they know they don't live in FL or that she's treating her nieces to a day at Disney?

yes but online it says you can show a form of ID, mortgage bill, utility bill, etc etc. It doesn't have to be a license.

I saw my uncle get a Florida 3 day resident ticket for my Grandma at the gate. He and his family live in Florida, she lives in NY with no Florida ID at all. Maybe it was just an oversight, idk, but kids don't have ID anyway, so I'm sure she could buy them for your kids.
