How many princess costumes?
I can't decide which characters to buy. I want too many! How many dresses in your girl's dress up wardrobe?
We have bday, halloween, and Christmas coming, so I can spread them out as gifts.

my girls have a bunch but really only a few. Elsa and anna were huge hits for a while. They don't dress up as much as I thought they would :(

I get them on sale.
We have belle, Cinderella, Rapunzel & Ariel.
I buy in larger sizes when they change the style of dress (have gotten Disney store ones for $10).
They have been well used!

How many princess costumes?
We have just a few. Anna, snow white which was last year's Halloween costume, a flower girl dress that's stretchy and great for dress up. She also used an Elsa nightgown for dress up for a while. Once summer came she used it for sleep along with a cute sophia nightgown. Now that is getting cold I'll throw those back in the dress up bin!

I get them on sale the day after Halloween. She was never really into them other than wearing them for Halloween or to disney. I think the most I spent on one was $15 and most were about $5. She has been a princess for a few Halloweens so we have Cinderella, Snow White, Belle, Ariel, Anna, Elsa. I think two of them were hand me downs.

I just bought almost all the classic Disney princess ones from JC penny because they were having a sale and we are going to Disney in October and she has no idea. we are doing the princess boutique thing there and rather than paying $$$ for her to pick which princess she wants to be that day I am bringing them all with me so when she decides I have them
yes I have issues  and I clearly spoil my DD sometimes  
ETA: I tried to buy them used but it was hard to find Disney brand ones I got one Cinderella one but I think I will be getting rid of it and just letting her use the one I bought new

Ok, now I feel a little better. I have a bunch of princesses in my cart(not all). The only thing holding me back is Idk how long she will fit in the size she is in now. So, I'm debating getting a couple in each size or, buying both sizes to try on.

We have a ton. Almost all the princesses - Anna, Elsa, Conderella, Snow White, Belle, Ariel, Jasmine, Cinderella, Aurora. We also have Sofia, Doc McStuffins, chef costume, a witch costume, and a generic princess costume. It's a little insane. I will say that as for cost some were $ and others were $$$. The only quality thing I care about is the glitter factor - I can't stand sparkles everywhere so that's what I look for now. JC Penney sells all the Disney costumes

I don't have a DD, but I do have a DS who loves dress up. We have probably 15 or so costumes- including all the Power Rangers ;) What I usually do is buy him whatever he wants for Halloween and then after Halloween I buy a bunch on clearance to use as dress up.

Right now, her dress up wardrobe has about 3 princess skirts / tiaras only. I will be getting her about 3 dresses this Christmas.
She also has a chef outfit, doctor set, fire fighter, and cowgirl dress ups as well.
