Paper Anniversary
I'm coming up on my first wedding anniversary and we're doing traditional gifts. What can I give besides tickets?

My Brother and SIL just celebrated their paper anniversary. They just had a baby so she did a photo shoot with her and the baby and printed the pictures for him. But you could do a boudoir photo shoot instead.

Paper Anniversary
We did tickets (i got him baseball tickets & he got me tickets to ZBB) and cards but I also got him a gardening book & had trees planted in his name. More of a joke but it came with a paper certificate & i figured trees make paper/

I got DH tickets to a Giants game, they didn't come in time so I wrote a cheesy little poem explaining what the gift was.
If you have something in mind that isn't paper, you can print out a picture of it on computer paper and wrap that..some may call it cheating but I think it counts! Lol

I did this, with a different wedding photo on each side. Our anniversary is in the summer, and so are both of our birthdays, so we set a very small limit on anniversary gift spending

a piece of art for the home?
the canvas is like paper -- you could choose a nice painting.
Or have a photo shoot of you guys and have a picture framed from that.
I recently bought my boyfriend, from a specialty shop of collectors items, an original letter from a civil war general regarding the ending of the war -- he is a huge civil war/history buff and this is an authentic original letter, framed, with a picture and then a reprint of what it says typed for easy reading. I don't know if he's into anything like that but my boyfriend LOVED it.
