What toys did your 9-12 month old enjoy?
I am not going to go crazy this year, but I am starting to think about Christmas. My little guy will be 9 months. Are there any most have toys at that age? Or anything your little one really enjoyed playing with.
I know Christmas and gift will not resonate with him so I definitely do not plan on going crazy, but I also would like to get him a few things that he may enjoy inside for the winter months.
Someone mentioned to me that their LO loved the Fisher Price Laugh and Learn House....I saw it was about $100, does anyone have this is this worth it?

me too!
we bought a pushy turtle popper thing from bru already and told my mom we want mostly interactive/ light up / music toys for 12mo+. i would also like foam letters/squares for the floor.
i looked up the fisher price laugh & learn stuff and added that to the list LOL
& i am going to follow this post :)

What toys did your 9-12 month old enjoy?
My first was 8 months her first Christmas and my lo is almost 10 months now. We got my first the house her first xmas and she still loves it so I'd say definitely worth it! I would hold off since it usually goes on sale before Christmas. A music table if you don't have one and the Vtech sit to stand walker are big favorites. Also a ride on toy. For little things any of the fp basics like the attacking rings and shape sorter, blocks, gymboree bubbles.

She loved the vtech walker.
Any fill and spill toy like the lil shopper playset, Lamaze fishbowl, leapfrog picnic basket, shape sorter sets (she didn't get the matching the shapes part until around 1.5 years, but loved filling and dumping the shapes). Balls are also great at that age.
Our apartment was too small for the FP playhouse :(
Eta: also the b toys plastic blocks. They have a set of square with numbers and a set with aphabet on varying shaped blocks. The number set was more than enough!

last year's black friday @ toys r us (well it was thanksgiving night...) it was $45!

What toys did your 9-12 month old enjoy?
DS1 got the Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Smart Stages Crawl Around Car when he was 1, but DS2 (who is 9 months now) has been playing with it since he was 4 months! DS1 still plays with it (he's 2.5). Also, my 3.5 & 5 year old nephews won't stop playing with it when they come over!
Cars, dinosaurs, and books are always good gifts too!

an excer-saucer with lots of music features
those little walker things -- they push and it helps them learn to walk and trot along
those tables with all sorts of music, buttons, and activities on them
anything stackable - blocks and such, esp ones that could spin like a top lol
toy lawnmower
books with buttons that make sounds or play music
