sleep help needed
how do I get my 14 month old to sleep past 5/6 am? we have black out shades, white noise machine. he goes to bed about 8:30. takes 2 naps during the day which are random. sometimes 30 minutes. sometimes 90minutes. he used to sleep until 7, which I can handle since my 6 year old has to get up at that time for school. But lately he is waking up too early and then I go in and sit with him on the recliner and hope he goes back to sleep. it usually doesn't work. It also hasn't mattered what time he goes to bed. any suggestions.

sleep help needed
My 16 month old has decided within the last 1-2 weeks that 4 am is a good wake up time. The first few day, I quickly nursed him and he went back to bed. Then I realized a pattern was developing so I stopped. Now, I let him fuss. Usually he fusses for 2-10 minutes and then passes back out. I've been letting him do this since Friday. He's still getting up, but I feel like at least I'm not reinforcing a bad habit...

Re: sleep help needed
Maybe try cutting out a nap? When my DD went down from 2 naps to 1 it was a hard transition, but it worked.

I agree with cutting out a nap. Especially since one can be as little as 30 mins.
