Can I complain about airline baggage fees?!?
My husband and I both have luggage. We got it 5 years ago when we got married. It cost us a fortune. At the time, my husbands large suitcase, always was under weight restrictions and size restrictions. We traveled international with it many times. Jet Blue now says it is too large to be considered "normal" luggage and it always exceeds 50 lbs. They charge $100 for it now!! $100 f-ing dollars. But a second bag just costs $35. We'd split it in two except we don't have an extra piece of luggage. Just frustrated.

I would go buy a new suitcase, they are cheap at Marshalls and TJ Maxx!

Ditto, just buy something new. Their rules are their rules, they are not going to change them for you

We bought new luggage as well - we got the large LL Bean rolled duffles - they are lighter than normal suitcases and fully packed typically weigh less than 50 lbs.

I have these too. They are great because they are lightweight, and they lie flat to store under the bed. Dc each have the medium size-plenty big enough for a week's worth of clothes. I have the extra large- it is huge!
