Where to go for a long weekend in early November
DS has 2 days off in early November. DH will not be coming with us. I think I want to go to a resort with fun kid activities. Thinking somewhere in the mountains.
Can you recommend a resort where I could enjoy an autumn trip with just the kids?

I just looked up Woodloch for 1 adult and 2 kids and it was only ~$150 per night because kids 6 and under are free.
Can this be right?
Whenever I looked in the past, it was more like $800+ per night for a family of 4.

They definitely have off season rates and kids stay free during low periods. I would jump on it if I were you. My kids love Woodloch.

I would really like to go to the spa!
I may have to push DH to take a few days off of work. We are already going away for Columbus Day and Thanksgiving though. He does not want to take more time off between those 2 trips.

No, unfortunately there's no kids club. I wish there were though ;) I "think" they have a babysitting service, but you should call to confirm that.

Where to go for a long weekend in early November
Dh and I went to the Homestead Resort in VA before we had kids and I have always wanted to go back with them. I think there is a kids club, and there is definitely a spa.
