Holy Cow

I was wondering if maybe my Ped would be starting DD on solids soon, but we haven't been back yet. When I called they said not til they see her. Well, we have an appt tomorrow so I wanted to be sure I know how much she's eating when they ask so I charted today and she took 40 oz already Is that totally crazy or normal? She's 4 mos old. That sounds like a lot to me.

That's not crazy. Ava takes 30oz a day and on a hungry day 36oz. The fact that it's not all formula makes is even more fine, as far as I'm concerned. THe problem with that much if it was all formula is the iron. But hey, if she wasn't hungry, she wouldn't eat it!

but the BM is more concentrated so she should need less of it than formula and isn't Ava the same age? That's what concerns me it seems like alot for her age. I thought 30 was normal. I guess I'll find out tomorrow.
